The All Progressives Congress (APC) in Ubbe Electoral Ward of Nasarawa State has suspended its Chairman, Julius Akwanga over alleged misconduct.
Also suspended from the governing party are the ward’s Deputy Chairman, Monday Oben and the Legal Adviser, Ayiwulu Khaki.
The suspension according to the Acting Chairman, Abuja Abashi, in a statement issued shortly after a meeting of Executives on Sunday is indefinite and with immediate effect.
Abashi further announced the suspension of a stakeholder and the Deputy Chairman of the party in Nasarawa Eggon LGA, Moses Malle.
“A five-man committee have been constituted to investigate, make recommendations, and submit same to the party within the prescribed period of 4-days.
“This would enable the party arrived on competent resolution on the matter,” he added.
The affected persons were accused by a group weeks ago of engaging in anti-party activities.
